What is happening?
Right now, a pair of black vultures chose the Jubilee Hills Senior Living to nest. Black vultures are extremely attentive parents, and stay with their young most of the day. Unlike other vultures, they are extremely social and family oriented, so this is a very important time for the mom to bond with her babies.
Black vultures are very curious, and may become habituated to the guests of Jubilee. They are fun to watch at a distance, but too much harassment can cause them to be so stressed that they abandon their nest. Help us prevent that from happening by giving them lots of space, and enjoying the family from a distance!
